01

The Brief

Confident Games needed a Shopify store that could showcase their range of family and party games clearly and invite people into game night with confidence. On their homepage they describe party and family games you can learn in minutes and play for years, designed by them and loved by families across the world.

The brief centred on presenting the product range, the brand story and the idea that game night should not be a gamble, in a way that matches Confident Games' own words.

02

The Challenge

A games brand has to sell products and also sell the feeling of playing together. Confident Games offers titles such as Confident?, Outliars, In A Nutshell, Speedy Pants and TUG!, alongside free try-for-free packs and a trade area for retailers.

Visitors need to browse games, understand what makes each one fun, and move towards purchase without losing the playful, welcoming tone the brand uses across its site and Our Story page.

What we delivered

Our Shopify web design approach

We designed the Confident Games Shopify store around three priorities that match how the brand presents itself online:

  • Shopify store design

A Shopify website that presents Confident Games' family and party games with a clear, playful retail layout.

  • Brand storytelling

Space for the Our Story narrative, including the husband-and-wife team behind the games and how the first title began.

  • Clear shopping journey

A product-led structure that helps shoppers explore games, try free packs where offered, and move towards purchase.

Games

Family and party games, clearly presented

Confident Games describes its range as award-winning family and party games that are easy to learn, fun to play and made for memorable game nights. The Shopify store brings those titles together so shoppers can explore bestsellers and newer releases from one place.

Homepage messaging such as "Game night shouldn't be a gamble" sets the tone, then opens into the games themselves with short descriptions that explain how each one plays.

Story

From kitchen table ideas to games played worldwide

On Our Story, Ceri and Natalie introduce themselves as the husband-and-wife team behind Confident Games. They write that they make clever, simple party games that bring people together, from kitchen table ideas to games played around the world.

They also share how they try to make games that are fun to play, built to last and made with care, including steps around carbon-neutral production and responsibly sourced materials. Giving that story a clear home on the store helps visitors understand the brand in its own words.

Outcome

The result

The finished Shopify store gives Confident Games a professional online home for its family and party games. Customers can browse titles, learn how the games play and read the brand story from a single, coherent website.

The project reflects a simple principle for specialist games brands: the website should present the products with the same clarity and warmth the brand brings to game night.
